Has your room comps on Platinum tier gone down?

I know this topic has been posted before, but I thought it was time for an update. I have been Platinum for years and I am 192 points away from maintaining my Platinum status under the new tier points program, but I have noticed my Las Vegas room comp offers have gone down. I used to get weekends all the time, but now it's mostly Sunday thru Thursday now.

Has any other Platinum members noticed a decline in Las Vegas room comp offers.

I'm still getting weekends, usually 3 nights but to get a 4th I have to add hubby's TR account. We generally stay @ Paris.

What I have noticed is with slot and bingo tourney invites. I got a bingo invite for the Quad in august and I had to pay $35/night for a room @ the Quad. No thanks! Yesterday I got in invite to a slot tourney @ Paris in Sept, for $99 I got an entry into the tourney and 3 nights @ the Quad. Again, no thanks.

Not only have the offers gotten worse, they have added that horrible resort fee. We usually stay at Paris for our summer trip, but The Venitian gave us a much better deal. It was our first time to stay there and we loved it.

Thanks guys, TECramer that's odd, I get slot and bingo tourney invites and always get free rooms with it, but I can't get weekend offers. I just don't understand how CET decides who gets weekends and who doesn't.

If you are on an Apple device, may I suggest you log using a PC?

The last free stay I got with a tourney was a bingo tourney @ in March. My choices were Ballys, flamingo, Harrahs, quad or rio. Ballys was full so I picked flamingo, but ended up staying with sis in her free room that weekend @ Paris.

There have been a couple threads about a decrease in offers/comps recently on TA. I am not seeing it in my acct but I hope it is not a harbinger of things to come. With all the work that CET is doing on their props, they might just need to start charging us to stay!

Yes, I have noticed as well. I'm platinum - have been for years and already passed the 5,000 mark to maintain next year - and my only offers right now are 3 nights midweek at Rio, Flamingo, Bally's Harrah's and Quad.
Thanks, but I'll take my 3 comped any time nights at the Palazzo rather than staying at the Quad!

We just got back today from a 4 night comp @ Paris, combing mine and hubby's TR #'s. Just booked next trip in Sept for a 3 night weekend and was able to get all comped @ Paris again. Was hoping I'd get to diamond in September but am only @ 7500 tier credits, doubt I can get to the required 15000 in a short trip.
