Horseshoe Hammond should be ashamed of themselves!

Just found out that valet parking is free for handicapped individuals except for Friday and Saturday. On those days they charge $5. This is really sinking to a new low.
In light of their demographic, it seems to me that they're biting the hand that feeds them, with this policy!
They must have very close parking spots, thank God I am not handicapped but if I was, I think I would rather be treated equal. Hence the word handi-able. Just a thought, I would like to hear from someone in a wheelchair, please not someone like my old neighbor whom was 100 percent healthy but paid extra for a handicap plate. I also had another friend (a long time ago). That lost her leg and could not afford the handicap license. It is sad how this world works sometime. IMHO if you are in a wheelchair the license should be the standard rate not higher, now there is something I would agree with!!!!!!
We go to Hammond Horseshoe frequently and there are about seven handicapped spots per floor in the parking garage. Rarely is one of them open.

A casino is a business, and I feel that the policy is fine. And yes, I have a handicapped tag.

Joy

We don't use valet . My daughter is in a wheelchair and it really helps to be able to park near a door and have room to load and unload her. Very seldom are handicapped parking spaces available. If there are 50 spaces all 50 will be full and my daughter is usually the only one in a wheelchair. I realize that some people are not visibly handicapped but this privilege is very abused.

Preach on!
Wow, IMHO they should have 10-20 spots for "wheel-chair" only spots!!!!!!! Is anyone with me to write and tell them this. Or can someone copy and paste this to them, that would be great. I would but I always screw up copy-paste. At the very least be able to drop-off someone in wheel chair, my goodness.
I've no doubt they're more than willing to allow pick-up/drop off, but if you want "luxury" of valet, you'll have to pay for it.
Before anyone gets too upset - what if they had ZERO valet? I am guessing they started charging because too many people did not tip.
