How do you plan on spending your Great Race to Rewards credits

Paul and I managed to acquire 6 destinations so we should see a total of $1,200 in rewards to spend

We are going to be in Vegas December 20-28 with my mom and daughter.

Our current plans include Christmas Eve dinner for the four of us at Les Artistes. I figure that will eat up about $400 worth of credits
And then we have reservations for Sterlings Sunday Brunch for Christmas Day. Another $350 worth of credits.

What plans do other have?

Good for you, Carol! It sounds like you're going to have a wonderful time on Caesars' dime. Nothing wrong with that.

My plans are etched in pencil at the present time, so they could change often, and without notice. But here's what's on my mind:

* I'm traveling to our favorite city in February. I don't get comped rooms from CZR, but my fool's gold TR card does get me some decent rates. I'm looking at the Imperial Palace (yeah, I know) for $70 for three nights and perhaps Caesars ($80) for one night. There might be some coupons in the ACG and/or MRB, so I hope to stack some buffet coupies along with my comps. Otherwise I hope the coffee shops 'round town aren't TOO overpriced. I might go see TPIR again; it would be hilarious to win a boatload of prizes on a comped show. And Jubilee might be good to get me away from those bad casino odds for a couple of hours. And there are a few other CZR shows of interest.

* I'm also traveling to Reno in April. Saturday-Sunday there should be roughly $80-100. Plus I'm sure I'll have to eat there.

* Beyond that, who knows. Probably more of the same - rooms, meals, and maybe a few shows.
I wish you could turn it into $600 of Free Play
I hope we're not all caught "counting our chickens before they hatch" but if everything plays out like it's supposed to, I'll be using up the $1200 (me and my wife) on an epic family vacation during March Break next year.

There will be 4 of us, so I'll be buying 4 of the "All Stage Passes" as well as doing the "Buffet of Buffets" twice for each of us.

All Stage Pass in Las Vegas
(2 X $99) + (2 X $119) = $436 + taxes.

Buffet of Buffets in Las Vegas
(8 X $44.99) = $359.92 + taxes

Breakfast @ Harrah’s Rincon X 4 X 2 ~ $120
Dinner @ Harrah’s Rincon X 4 X 2 ~ $225

Total = 855.92 + $345 = $1200

We'll be spending some time in San Diego and at Harrah's Rincon so some of the $1200 will go towards some meals there. Get this... Since I booked far enough in advance, I got a 1400+ Square foot Spa Tower Catalina Suite comped for 2 nights!

a2a3seddie- Wow that room/suite sounds great. I wish we could get something like that in Vegas for our Christmas trip.

freemont4ever - your penciled plans sound like fun. I will also be using $40 in Reno Oct 31 to pay for a room for my mom. I had a comp junket for 2 and we bought her a ticket to go along with. Then booked a room using Paul's card but it cost $40. I though we could afford that with their dollars.

I guess I am a little more fugal with our points. We were able to hit 5 places for a "hopeful" total of $900. I figure I won't have to pay for another meal at a Harrahs ever again. I only budget $36 a day for the 2 of us to eat on (1-1, 1-5, 1-10 and 1-$20--I know i am crazy odd). $900 should go a long ways the way I spend.
Paul and I have family in Las Vegas and Henderson

so we plan to take everyone out to a nice restaurant

for Thanksgiving and for Christmas instead of the

usual buffet. 6-8 of us could really take a good chunk out of those bonus points.

The rest is going to be used for other dinners with friends and family.

We can eat on Harrahs for some time! Thanks Harrahs.

the way we eat in Vegas $36 a day won't cover most dinners for one. It would cover some buffet breakfasts but just barely.
We are big on "eating Las Vegas".

Sounds like you will be savoring this reward long after we have gobbled it down.

carol
for me, it's Qua Spa all the way.
Massage, body wrap, facial and product if there is anything left.
I can eat in the DLs. food is just fuel.
The Sterling Brunch and either Les Artistes or Bally's Steakhouse will be in order. We figure we can eat well over spring break and our summer run. Woohoo!
