How do you redeem reward credits for shows?

Let's say I want to get tickets to see "Donnie and Marie" at the Flamingo 3 months from now and I want to get the seating I want so I'm ordering now. I don't have a host, so won't I have to charge the tickets to my credit card? Will I be able to have my credit card charge reversed and have my rcs be used instead?
Hmm interesting. I have had rooms charges returned on my CC but never show tickets. I would call the TR booth at Flamingo see what they say.

edited to add please let us know what the answer is.

Thanks
It appears the answer is I can't get tickets that early to shows I want to see without charging my credit card. Here's the answer from those wonderful Western Region customer service personnel.

"Thank you for contacting Caesars Palace!

It is my pleasure to assist you with your Total Rewards inquiry. In regard to show tickets, in order to use your Reward Credits you will have to purchase your tickets directly at the outlet or charge them to your room and settle your bill at check-out using your Reward Credits. I hope this information was helpful, Ms. Puhl. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance!

Have a wonderful day!

So according to the above response, I can't use my reward credits in advance, I have to be at the box office or charge them to my room when I'm there.

I hate to give them back 1/2 of my reward credits to use it for free play and I don't think we get 1 for 1 value for reward credits at TR Marketplace. Maybe I'll be staying in a fancy CP suite once to use up my rcs or have some mighty fancy meals. Maybe Gordon Ramsay Steak or Bally's Sterling Buffet a few times.

If I could ever get my family together in LV at one time, I could use the rcs for a family get together.

At which CET properties can I buy bottles of really nice tequila and charge it to my room and then pay with rcs? Would I run into any problems transporting it back to California in my car trunk?

As long as the tequila doesn't get too hot and is unopened, I don't think you would have problems driving it back to CA in your car's trunk. I've brought wine back to AZ from Vegas.

A few years ago, I remember all cars being stopped for immigration check points along I 8. At one of them, the dog got excited and they pulled the car in front of me over. I wasn't able to hang out and find out why. I don't recall anyone asking about anything in my car on last Sept's road trip, Phx, Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, Reno, Las Vegas and back to Phoenix, nor do I remember anyone asking about adult beverages when they stopped all cars on both sides of Hoover Dam.

I added Jersey Boys tickets to my room reservation by calling Planet Hollywood last week for May 11th show, no problem.

Last month, I wanted to use points to buy tickets to a show at Flamingo. Since I wasn't staying there, I couldn't charge my room (obviously). What I did was get the price of the tickets from the box office, walk over to the total rewards desk, and ask for a voucher for the cost of the tickets. Then I took the voucher to the box office and paid for the tickets. A little bit of back and forth, and that keeps you from buying in advance, but still...
You can get liquor at the gift shops at the Rio and just scan your TR card.
Thanks what I was afraid of. Well you could try and get them when you get there. You would think they would hold back some good seats for high rollers that they might release that day. I mean if you have TR credits to burn and you don't care about pricing . I would just wait and see. They have been there a while. I just checked and they have seats available for this Friday and Saturday.

Best of luck
ps I am sure you know this but as long as you put one point every 6 months they don't expire.
