How is the changes to the Total Rewars program affecting you?

My husband is a low diamond and I am platinum.

We just booked 8 nights in Vegas for July. I got Tu-Th comped at Bally's, and he got Fri-Wed comped at Paris. We always put in just one number or else it will come up that one of us already has a reservation.

I did look at the same dates last month and I could have gotten the Quad, Harrahs or Flamingo. None of those except Quad should up this time. Who knows??? And as long as we have the rooms, who cares?

I agree with MissL7777. Keep trying on dates you want. I have found that my offers change daily--not really my offers but what my offers get me. I can check a set of dates one day and I can barely get a room at the Quad and then a few day later I put in the exact same info and can get an upgraded room at Planet H. My offers seem to be a little better recently. Not just getting free nights but always something extra with room ($100 credit at the pool, gift card etc.)
eholmes - you should have received the bonus Tier credits regardless of where you played. I just returned from four days at Paris and talked to two different TR hosts who both told me it didn't matter where I played -- as long as it was in the same region on the same gaming day -- and that the points accumulated would go toward the bonus. He checked my account and saw that on that day, I had earned 380 points at Bally's, 80 at Caesars and 120 at Paris and I would absolutely get the Tier Credit bonus.

Whether or not that happens remains to be seen, as I just returned from the trip and it usually takes a couple of days for the points to post.
That being said, I had been told previously by a TR host at PHo that the points needed to be earned in the same location.

What, you mean CET might have a confusing policy about something??
melissaru, I can confirm the play from different properties will be combined if one qualifies for the tier credit bonus.

Well the only confusing thing was that I had trouble keeping track of my play at the various properties. The first night I actually did get the match although I thought I had not, the second night I missed the 1000 pt match by less than 100 pts. Not CETs fault but it is more important than ever to keep track of your play and not always possible (Ok, I could have refused so many cocktails Sorry if I made it sound like the play did not accrue across all the properties and the good news is that they are sending email notifications within 2 days receiving the tier bonuses.
It is just kind of a bummer to have to try to keep track of play at the different properties but i really should not complain.
Hubby and I are leaving for Vegas in about a month and figure we will have to write down our starting tier points each day as we jump around or we will end up shorting ourselves. It would be a shame to go to bed with 999 tier points.
Wife and I are both Platinum and each receive 4 or 5 nights comp'd per trip. We both have over $1000 available to spend in our TR accounts so it doesn't seem to impact on any offers we each receive. Usually stay at Paris. As for the new Tier levels we found on a recent trip to Tunica that it was almost impossible to keep track of our play from casino to casino since they didn't update at each property. We had to go to each property's Total Rewards desk and check how many points we earned before we left. They could not (or would not) confirm how many points we earned in the system at other properties so that made it more complicated. We managed to earn 9500 tier credits in two days of play and should make Diamond on our next trip to Vegas. We did go a little over our per day budget but we just cut back on the number of days we played to compensate. The new system sort of forces lots of play in a short period of time to maximize benefits.
Thanks for all the replies. I still get up to four nights comped, but I have noticed they are for Sunday thru Thursday. I get very few weekend room comps anymore when I used to get them all the time. I like to go to Las Vegas about four times a year. It my "recharge my battery" place.

Oddly, I never got the "congrats, you've earned a bonus!" email for the days I played at different properties, only the one that my play was confined to one location...so somehow I still feel like I got screwed!
Offers are better when you log in to Total Rewards using a PC rather than Apple product, i.e. IPad or IPhone, etc.
