We decided to stay at Ballys, starting Saturday night for 7 nights. HOWEVER...Ballys apparently now has a policy that in order to stay Saturday night, you have to also stay Friday night. Well, the flight was already booked with frequent flyer miles, so the Friday night stay can't happen. Instead, we're staying at Red Rock for Saturday and Sunday nights and then will be at Ballys for the remaining 5 nights. Since we couldn't stay there Saturday night, Bally's is only getting us for 5 nights. It sure seems to me if someone is going to stay at a place for 7 nights that the silly "must also stay Friday night" rule wouldn't apply.

I don't have comped rooms at Red Rock but it was the principle that hacked me off.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the rooms at Red Rock, top quality toiletries, large soaking tub, comfy beds, large pretty pool area, large spacious casino. I love the hotel at Red Rock. however, everytime I've played there, the casino KICKS my butt. Whenever I want to stay off strip, I either stay at Green Valley Ranch or Aliante.

I've checked in on Sat. plenty of times. Thats odd.

I think its been answered, but charge everything to your room that you want to use RC's for.

One little issue I found.......if you want to charge breakfast to your room on your last day?
Make sure you do it before 11 am.
Otherwise they have to CALL & takes awhile to Open your trip acct., apply the charge, use your RC's
and then Close your portfolio again.
Just easiest to be Done charging to your room by 11 am.

Lisa, thanks for the Red Rock observations. I've breezed through the property, thought it looked very nice, and decided this was an opportunity to check it out.

CLV, I am not Diamond. I am the lowest level of Gold you can imagine! I checked in on Saturday last year with no problem - it is just this trip I am unable to do so. I've heard of other properties that do this from time to time, so maybe I just caught Ballys on the wrong month - because all of August is the same way.
