Imperial Palace vs. Hooters

Bringing the family out for a visit next week. Usually stay at Trop, but have already used free nights, and need two rooms anyways with teens tagging along on this trip. since we need two rooms, Trop prices are out of the question. Best rates found at IP (including free nights for one of the two rooms), and Hooters. Would appreciate any ideas on which one you would stay in....thanks!

Having stayed at both, I would say the I.P. if the family like pools they both have them. You will find more dining options at the I.P. that should please everyone and the location is better being mid strip.

Although I should preface this by saying that I have never been to Hooters Casino, I think that maybe due to its theme, that for your family's sake, you might be better off in staying at Imperial Palace.

Hey Coach. His teens may all be boys in which case Hooters will provide better "non-gaming" attractions.

I stayed at Hooters in June and had no problem with inappropriate behavior. I saw lots of families in the Hooters restaurant (which wasn't very good). But I agree you'd have better dining options at IP with Hash House-a-go-go and nearby properties. If the prices are close to the same I'd say IP but I've never stayed there so I can't speak for the rooms.

Another thing about the IP is that they do have an Arcade, hope this is helpful.
