For the last 2 trips, I scored inexpensive suites and am hoping to find something similar for my trip this year.
In 2007, I got the penthouse suite at the Mirage (you know, 1200 square feet, gold bidet) for $200/night in the week between the rodeo ending and Santa coming.
Last year, it was the Marquis Suite at the MGM Grand for 2 couples, for about $225/night for all 4 of us. Just FYI, this is currently listed on their web site as costing $700/night.
Soooooooooo if anyone knows of any discount suite codes, for the deal of the century, could you please post them here so I can surprise my hubby for the 3rd time ever in our 4-year relationship? LOL Last year, when we trekked ALLLLL the way down the hall at the MGM, he swore we were trying to break in the suite w/an old room card - silly man! Loved the look on his face when he realized it was ours for 2 nights!
