Strip Hotels - Invitational tournaments

I am not sure if this belongs here or under comps, but because it is about Caesar's properties, I will post it here. In my offers, I used to get invites to different invitational tournaments from slots to poker. I have noticed that there are no more listed in my offers. Are others getting these offers or have they disappeared? I have been Diamond for several years now, so it's not that I don't gamble there.

If you are referring to the Summerfest and Winterfest tournaments, they still occur. But yes the other tournaments seem to be less.

Thanks. I wasn't referring to the Winterfest or Summerfest tournaments. It was for a while they would have $125,000 poker tournament about twice a year, but not anymore. Those were fun.

I'm still getting invitation to tourneys, but I'm 7*'s. My husband is Diamond and he seems to get them as well (38k tier), in fact I think he just got one for a poker or BJ tournament in Vegas.

I'm only platinum with CET, but I've been regularly receiving mail for slot, bingo, bj and poker tournaments over the last year. I think I have 3 or 4 or so in the drawer for 2015 already. I am constantly flirting with Diamond qualification, so I wonder if they are pitching me harder? I will be in Las Vegas over New Years, using a CET New Years comp (first time ever got one of those for the holiday) , and possibly will get up to Diamond...but wondering if that may negatively impact future offers?

If possible, reaching diamond status would be good for you, as long as it doesn't cost you a lot!!
I'm platinum, and have been getting slot/video poker tournament offers - BUT the comped room is STILL charged the dreaded "Resort Fee" each night, and is $25+tax. You DON'T have to pay this fee, if you're diamond or seven stars.
I guess it depends on what you like & if it serves your needs.

There is a Blackjack tournament at Paris 31 July-2 Aug. I don't know if this is part of Summerfest or not.

I just received an entire summer schedule of events and I'm Platinum. There was a choice of game: slots, video poker, bj, etc. I always get it after I've already made reservations for another time, lol.

Living in NW Indiana and flying out of Midway Chicago, our trips depend on decent airfare.
