Is anyone staying at The Cromwell" before it officially opens on May 21st?

Wow! Hope that stays the same for my trip May 18th.
How is the progress on Giada's?
How are the bathroom amenities?
I had to look up what a "pillow menu" means.

What room type do you have and how is the view?
Just got back from LV trip yesterdat. Stayed at Ballys, but did some gamming at the Cromwell. So yes its open, but they are still doing construction work. The grand opening is in May, I think. The casino area is very nice and I really enjoyed playing there, however since I am only a platnium level player; I dont qualify for comped rooms so I wont be staying there.

The bathroom have got a rain forest shower no bathtub, the shampoo and all that stuff is called deep muk,it is supposed to be a upscale brand. The rooms and bathroom are small, but decorated very nice. But it was more the service and all the free stuff.I think our welcome tray were valued at around 100.00 And free breakfast and happy hour all seved for you.You felt like royalty
I was curious about the free breakfast as it isn't mentioned as a part of The Cromwell service. And also if a Diamond Lounge is planned.
Here's the email reply from CET

"Thank you for contacting The Cromwell! It is my pleasure to assist you with your casino inquiries. At this time, there are no plans to have a Diamond Lounge on property at The Cromwell. I apologize for any disappointment. With regard to the current complimentary Continental Breakfast being served, this is because at this time, we have no working kitchen. Therefore, we are unable to provide our hotel guests with food accommodations and as a courtesy, we are temporarily offering this Continental Breakfast. Beginning May 21, we will have our kitchen up and running. Please note, this accommodation is for hotel guests only and is not available for the public or any other Caesars Entertainment guests. Room keys will be verified.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Have a wonderful day!

Thank you for choosing The Cromwell!

Lasvegaslover Thanks for filling us in on "The Cromwell Experience"

I will be staying there starting this Friday May 2 for 3 nights. I can't wait!!
Raisin,

If you haven't already you may want to check out TripAdvisor, they have about 5 reviews posted and some pics of one of the rooms.

It sounds like you want to be sure to ask for a south facing room, otherwise you will be looking at the wall of the Flamingo.
Thanks Erin, I checked out those Trip Advisor reviews. I have to pay for my room, $69 Deluxe King, but I chose to up it to $89 for a Luxury with a Strip view. I hope that will mean the front or most probably the Bally's side of the Cromwell. I will ask that it does face south when I check-in. Since my husband and son are staying at the Rio for their tournament, I'll drop them off first at the Rio, then my sister and I can enjoy all the service as soon as we arrive at the Cromwell.
I'm anxious to hear your review! I think the rooms look pretty cool, but a little on the small side.

I'm just wondering what the casino will be like. I was never a fan of Cosmo because I didn't care for the young hipsters that frequented the place.
I just returned and will write a review later this week. I loved it! The rooms are comfortable and the staff was wonderful.
