Junket Gambling Requirements

Looking to book a Harrah's junket for five days/four nights in Laughlin. What are the gambling requirements, if any, to "meet Harrah's expectations"? Would not like to get a surprise charge for not gambling enough at Harrah's.

Your expertise will be appreciated.
Whatever the cost of the junket is the cost of the junket. There might be a cost if you cancel after a specific date.

I had a comped offer for flight and room to Reno (for 2) that we took in September. If I canceled after a specific date, I was responsible for the cost of airfare for 2. I think one profitable night Memorial Day weekend and losing earlier that week in Lake Tahoe triggered this and other Reno offers.

Friend who traveled with me played at Harrahs arrival day (afternoon only) then stayed at Atlantis for the 2 nights. It was the weekend of the Air Show and friend could not get her own comped room at Harrahs, yet was able to get comped at Atlantis. I played less than planned because I couldn't hit squat. Also, spent part of Saturday doing non-gaming activities. I received same offer for 1st quarter this year and still receive other good offers for Reno.

No requirements. Technically these aren't "junkets" like those of decades ago, whereby the gambler somehow "put up" a substantial amount of money prior to the trip, for which he got the flight, room, etc. We might have thought of them as "high rollers" when hearing about someone going on a "junket."

So the term junket is passé, while these are known as "charter" trips. They charge $30 or $40 to your credit card (or your TR points if they don't get your cc number) but you get it back in Free Play that is loaded on your players card when you get there (you don't have to do anything to get it loaded).

You got the offer based on your current level of play, so your normal play will probably keep you on the list for more charter offers. And if for some reason you don't play much while there, they won't come asking you to pay up.

Appreciate the information. I'll now accept one of the offers for Laughlin. Never been there due to work. Have some free time now.
Candy, interesting that some charters charge something for the flight. My flight offers to Reno have been 100% comped.

Thebeachbum, enjoy your trip to Laughlin. Take the water taxi and visit the other properties. Over the years, I've met several people who take charters to Harrahs Laughlin and never step outside, let alone visit other casinos. If you are diamond or 7*, you can use reward credits 1:1 to purchase round trip tickets for the water taxi.
Thanks for the reward credit tip on the water taxi. Yes, we do plan to visit all eleven casinos.
If you don't want to use credits you can just ask for two for one water taxi tickets.

Unless there has been a recent change 7* player get free water taxi tickets.
There has been no change. Was saying that it was not necessary to use credits.
