Just Made Diamond -- Will I Get 2 $100 Dining Certificates?

Wow, that is great news. Flowers and I were debating this about a month or so ago. I think when you make Diamond, you are diamond for all of the following year, and until March of the year after that. For example if I achieved 15.000 points today, I would be Diamond for the rest of 2014, all of 2015, and until March of 2016. Is this correct? So if you made diamond in 2013, you have until March of 2015 to use the certificate (assuming they are still honoring this merit). In fact if you look at your Diamond card that you achieved from 2013 points, you can see on the card that it has the date March 2015. I hope this helps everyone.

I can definitively say that the voucher with an expiration date of March 31, 2014 was for earning diamond in 2013 since I took a couple years off and didn't earn diamond in 2012. So, if they're giving one out with the expiration date of March 31. 2015 it would most certainly be from earning diamond in 2014.

Just got back from vegas. The 100 certificate I received and used last July was for making diamond in 2012. Last week I received and used another 100 certificate for making diamond last year/in 2013. That certificate was good for the rest of this diamond year, until march 31, 2015. I have earned diamond again already in 2014. I will not receive a 100 certificate but instead a FOLIO credit of 100 that will be good until march, 31, 2016. I will receive that credit because I hit the 40,000 tier credit mark. I spoke with a boothling at bally's who spoke with confidence about the rules. Anyone making diamond last year will get a certificate for 100 but if you make diamond by the end of THIS year you will get a folio credit for 100 for making 40,000. Nothing for making diamond in 2014 for 15,000. That's consistent with the new awards info posted earlier this month. Some people may get and use two certificates this year but it would be for making diamond in 2012 (that certificate expired last month) and in 2013 (that certificate expires next march). I think the confusion is that the certificates are good for almost a year and a half the year AFTER you made diamond.

Also for Justmare, when you make diamond, you are diamond for the remainder of that calender year, and then ALL 12 MONTHS of the following calender year, and then until March of the year after that. If I make Diamond today, I am Diamond NOT until March 2015, but until March 2016. (All you have to do is look at your Diamond Card, which already has a date of March 2015 for making diamond in 2013) That being said, I know I will not come close to 40,000 point mark. However, I will still have my $100 for making Diamond in 2013, which I plan to use in March next year for my annual March Madness trip, as I did this past March.

As I understand it you still get the $100 certificate for reaching diamond. Once you hit Diamond level 1 (40k points) you get $100 folio credit (not a certificate) when using the hotel stay for hitting that level. You must be staying at a Harrah's property. At least that is what I was told and that is also what is in the seven stars insider information for April 2014.
