Ling Construction

I would like some info on the construction at the IP. I know what everyone says about the IP but I like it there. Close to everything I like to see and I can walk everywhere, and bus stop close by to get me downtown.
I know they have started construction, heard that the Carnival Court has been torn down. Do you know if they are doing anything to the IP Hotel inside?
What construction is going on outside? Where is it at the moment, also know that they are tearing down OSheas, is it gone yet?

We were in LV two weeks ago, Presdidents Day weekend. O'Sheas is still operating. We stopped in for our last visit and looked for souvenirs. Bought a commerative coin. According to the employee who sold us the coin (he was running the gift counter and running the poker room) the tentative date for closure is June 1st.

During our visit IP's casino was business as usual. No construction going on inside. I can't confirm
Carnival Court has been torn down. We entered/exited Harrah's through the back walkway that connects to IP.

Lot's of dirt being moved around behind O'Sheas & IP and some roads back there have been rerouted.

I just got home Monday and Carnival court is still open, and I had a room at the IP...everything is still going, and i didn't see any construction in the buildng. Only one tower at IP is gone as of now.

I'll be at staying at the IP for two nights on 3/10 and 3/11 and was thinking that same thing.

I have two nights comped in a Deluxe King Suite and am hoping they do not start working too early on Monday morning...

I think a pool asking for a room on the north side of the building might be the way to go...

The only thing I could tell at the IP is that the Capri buildings are gone.

And not a moment too soon... Those places reminded me of an episode of COPS when they were doing a "crack" sting in the hood... My brother was so proud that his first ever comp was there and he thought he was "upgraded" to the Capri Rooms when he went. He said the pictures looked "nice" but was he in for a surprise!

We were there just last weekend. Unfortunately, Ghiradelli's is a victim of this construction project. What a bummer!! I hope they come back soon.
