Looking for easy walks/hikes in Rincon area

Will be at Rincon for my 65th birthday 1/28-1/31 and need to find some easy walk areas. I'm trying not to spend the whole time in the casino but stay in the Pala, Pauma, Valley Center area.

How's the Wilderness Garden Park area? Snakes? I've driven right by the entrance numerous times saying we'll go next time.

Are there any hiking camping areas going up to Palomar Observatory? Prefer not to drive all the way to the top as I didn't appreciate the drive back down the mountain.

How's the Rincon pool on Friday mornings/ afternoons lately? Is it party central or might I enjoy some relaxing time out there?

When we stopped to go to the Wilderness Garden Park it was closed. Not sure of their hours.
Yep, that is certainly a winding road up Palomar Observatory. Seems to take for ever to get to the top. There are picnic tables and easy walking in the area. Best time to go is on a Sunday morning when they have public tours of the observatory.
