March 31 - NO MORE FREE SHOWS FOR DIAMOND

Just returned from five days at Paris and when I asked at the Total Rewards center to see the list for 2 for 1 or free shows I am eligible for she said to pick something I hadn't seen, because it was going away as of March 31.
Not discounting what you were told or denying it happened, however, a boothling at a TR booth is typically the last person I'd trust when asking about information. I base this on experience over the years. Typically the people the work the slot clubs know less than the customers. I wouldn't doubt the information though as every year having diamond status becomes less and less valuable as they continue to cut benefits that once made it great to be diamond.

Odd that they would do that at a time when they are trying to convey new "excitement" through their promotions and contests. Why would they cut off the benefits of such a valuable group of long-time, loyal customers? And without much warning?

I didn't ask if it was going away. I simply asked to see the list so I could see if there was anything I
might be interested in. She offered the information.

I have noticed when you go into MY TR, they now have all the casino benefits combined...ie cage, resturant lines diamond lounge etc..... and no shows are mentioned. Wow I love the new excitement!!!!!!getting screwed without warning is very exciting. Come on Caesars, how about a 6 month warning. I guess they are pulling the band-aid off. And they hope their biggest asset. ITS LOYAL GAMBLERS stick around.
I also noticed, prior to my trip last week, there was no mention of free shows for diamond members on the website. I was wondering if they had been discontinued.

When I checked in at the Flamingo Diamond area, the check-in gal gave me a list of shows which were free for diamond members (without my asking). I was pleased that benefit was still available, but still wondered if it could possibly be eliminated since it isn't listed on the website.

Real shame. I can't believe this costs them much money, those seats would likely be empty anyway.

I just called Caesars and spoke with someone at Total Rewards. Seemed to be knowledgeable. Said indeed that as of April 1st there were no AUTOMATIC comped tickets for Platinum, Diamond OR SEVEN STARS and that all comped tickets would be based on play. She said "we are still waiting to get more information about the new program." I asked if Diamond players still got free access to the Caesars fitness center (as opposed to Qua Spa) and she said "yes," that had not changed.

I did notice that in the most recent Total Rewards magazine I received that I got a coupon for two comped tickets to Absinthe or Price is Right. I booked Absinthe and PROBABLY would have gone to that show with my two free tickets a month anyway but I don't like not having the option anymore. If you want to go to a bunch of shows, the $99 Back Stage Pass is looking pretty good.
I was up there for NASCAR March 9-11. Got free tics to a show
(first time, I learned about it from you guys on this forum THANKS)
But was also told it was ending March 31. She also told me that
this offer is only good (was) once a month (I,m A long time Diamond)
Anybody know if this is correct as I'm heading back up to Vegas
tomorrow. Thanks, Jim
Sad to say its true, No free tics this trip
Jim
Shoot! I read the tix had gone away on TA before my trip a couple of weeks ago so I did not even ask - now I read on here that my not be the case. I have BOGO to Price is Right Live so I must have spectacular ADT, huh?
