Sorry, don't see a benefit in auto bartender. It's bad enough we just sit and text in the family living room or dinner table at the restaurant. At least you had to stop looking at your damn phone long enough to order a drink.

No human bartenders.....No tips. No tips....more money for the customers to lose gambling. Casinos hate tipping. Once it goes into an employees pocket, they'll never see that dollar again. We had one of the big bosses at our boat tell one of the big Geroges not to tip us. He said we made enough money.
Horseshoe in Tunica had a very good automated system, though I haven't been there in 2-3 years. At every machine, close to the card reader, you dialed in the drink you wanted. The thing had lists of every type cocktail, wine, beer, soft drink imaginable. Separated into categories so it wasn't like you had to spend time looking through to find the drink you wanted. Example: I would press "Mixed drink", or "Cockail", whatever, then "gin", then "gin & tonic". It was really fast. For beer and wine there were lots of options. In no time at all the server arrived at my machine with my gin & tonic. I'm talking a minute on a busy night. I (and most others) tipped the server as usual. But it was very fast and accurate. I suppose it eliminated having to wait for a server to take orders from a whole section of the casino before heading back to where the orders were filled, etc.
But, I haven't seen that system anywhere else. And I don't know if the drink was MADE by a human or a machine.
Candy, that system is still in place at the 'Shoe, and was also in place at Roadhouse (until it closed a few months ago). Humans are still making the cocktails.
Good to know, antennanut. Thanks. I miss the 'Shoe. Circumstances changed, reason we haven't been there in a while. Best rooms. They had the best breakfast buffet on the planet (at that time). Was sorry to see that go. The evening buffet was very good last time there. It is a very good drink system.
Is there anything in place of the Roadhouse?
Interestingly, the Roadhouse hotel is still open. But no casino or restaurants. I liked it MUCH better when it was Sheraton, with so many more machines, including the second floor.
