MGM Rooms bar

i have heard but since forgotten if i move or drink a portion of any beverage in the bar i will b charged a fee. am i correct and will someone please explain the policy. i will b in town for the marathon. tyia

I've been advised before to avoid moving anything in the minibar at the Belagio.  Not sure if some properties have more sensitive minibars than other properties.  I suppose they could charge for whatever drink is moved.

I dont the MGM specifically - but the latest technology has all of the snacks/bottles on a "smart" rack.   If you take it off the sensor  then you buy (typically at a ridiculously upmarked price).

Don't touch ANYTHING in the mini bar!if you take it out to read the lavel, you just bought it and you will be very surprised as to how much $$ pops into your hotel stay bill.

I believe that the Belagio has one,but they also supply a mini fridge for personal use.

Stock your own beverages,please.

You may request a mini fridge at ALL hotel-casinos.There may be a fee,but that will be OK with me.

My Vegas buddy DOES need insulin for his diabetes and it must be refriderated.(SP)

A medical requirement for him.His kit goes right next to my beer and sodas and our left overs.

Otherwise,it's gonna be a few runs to the ice machine for us.I have filled the sink with ice before.

It takes 4-5 buckets full, but the Downtown Grand has 2 sinks!

  The Belagio,just one.

Dragging a portable cooler into the room is just JDLR to me.
