Monte Carlo

This will be our first time staying at the Monte Carlo. Which areas of this hotel provide the best views of Vegas?
Strip view, of course.
You'll have a decent view from any room without a "Northern" exposure - higher floors = better views.

My mother just stayed there a few weeks ago. The regular rooms are getting to be a little shabby but still very clean and comfortable. They have some recently renovated suites that typically start around $175 and up - but if you are going to drop that kind of cash you'd be better off at Aria/Cosmopolitan/Wynn.

Do all of the rooms at MC have flat screen tv's?

34 days till Vegas, we need some current information about the parking and rooms at this place.
I want to say my mother's room there had a tube TV but I cant recall for sure.
Everything is perfectly clean but the standard rooms need a refreshening for sure. The carpet is worn. The bedding is old. THe wood furnishings are scoffed and chipped. The bathrooms are small with dated fixtures.
But if all you want is a bed and shower in a good location then you'll be fine. The pool is pretty nice if you can get a seat.

Don't bother with the restaurants at Monte Carlo unless they give you food credits with your room.
I haven't been to vegas in a couple of years, however, strip view from the Monte Carlo can be on 3 sides, straight ahead you'll see MGM/Trop and some of Planet Hollywood. If you are on the NYNY side, you'll see that and some of the MGM/Trop, maybe Excalibur...and beyond. Then of course if you are on the City center side, you'll pretty much see just that. We first had the rear of the hotel, saw the Palms, Rio...mountains..it wasn't bad at all.

I can't answer about parking, we always valet when we rent a car. I just can't be bothered going after my rental car.

Smile a lot, you may luck out with the view.
Navy Mom:

We are going to try Valet parking for the 1st time due to a couple of factors. 1.) We will be getting into vegas after 9 p and 2.) My wife has trouble walking following a massive stroke in 2010.

Do you know if all of the rooms have flat screen TV'S ? The website says that the Delux rooms have LCD'S.
