Monthly Free Show Tickets for Diamond Members

I have heard that in order get the free show tickets, that you must have an existing reservation at one of their existing Las Vegas properties. Is this true?

I don't think that is true. Otherwise a diamond who is a local couldn't get the tickets. I have never had them ask where I was staying.

Is there a way to find out what each months tickets are going to be?

I was in Vegas two weeks ago and stayed at the Golden Gate. I took the SDX to the Strip and on a whim I went to the TR desk at Harrah's and got a voucher for a ticket to see the Million Dollar Quartet that night. Exchanged the voucher for my ticket with no problems; they never asked me where I was staying..just had to show my diamond card and ID at the TR desk in order to receive the voucher for the show.

No you do not need to be a TR guest (many diamond members are locals)

The list changes a bit monthly (but not much). In May, Tony & Tina's wedding wasnt on the list, but back in July; I just saw the Oct. list & it was still there.
50 Shades is closing Nov. 15.

The key is to go the DAY you arrive; you will find the most popular shows sold out that day (well, sold out for free diamond tickets)--Penn & Teller, 50 Shades and Tony & Tina (since it has dinner, too?) are often sold out. But you can get them for other days in your trip.

Additionally, if you can schedule your trip over 2 calendar months (as we did--the last weekend of May into the first week of June), you can get a pair for EACH month. Nice.
