My Two-Cents on the "New" Reward Program

jman
Good to here from you. Sorry to hear you are not doing a road trip this year. Hope everything is OK.

IMO I wouldn't call adding your .02 a rant. You laid it out in a logical manner and the facts are what they are. Caesars is shafting a lot of their long time customers.
Thanks for the breakdown Jon.Sure seems like Caesars cares very little about the average person.Wonder if it will change again once people start staying away. Also sorry your not taking a summer journey.Always enjoy your trip reports.
I've been running out to AkChin for the last couple of Fridays.....they offered 700 free Reward Credits. Of course while you are there, you have to play a little. So I have been putting some points on the card, hoping to get some Vegas offers but all I have gotten in offers is a little free play and a $39.00 dollar room weekday there at AkChin...and a few Harrah's Laughlin bus trips. And I think those rooms are $10.00. Yeah, big deal.
So did all of the properties do away with platinum lines, etc.? I was in A.C. last weekend and still had a platinum check-in line at Harrah's and noticed it was also there at Caesars. Also was in Vegas in February and the platinum/diamond entrance at Paris buffet had the same signage as always.
Curious if this is no longer the case? I get zero benefits at Harrah's Cherokee, the closest to me in Atlanta, but I always try to maintain my platinum for the little things -- those buffet lines! -- in Vegas.

Pick me up off the floor!! Harrah's AkChin just gave me an offer of a free night there. Let me get my breath here.......phew.
Jman,
I too got a call this week as a matter of fact from my host who called in response to an email I sent with a question regarding something I read on these threads.

But bottom line, the call was to inform me that he could not longer be my host because of my play. He said it was nothing personal and it was all done by computers - he didn't have a say in it. He explained that it wasn't my level of play but the frequency of visits. I go to a harrahs casino every couple of months...December was in Coucil Bluff for 3 days, missed January because we went to Aruba for 2 weeks, was in Biloxi in February and in Cherokee in March.

I have been a diamond players for years.

The Universal Rule:

"New and Improved" = raised the price and cheapened the product.

Count on it.
You are not wrong.. O2BnVegas-- ex-ACTLY.
Hey HET, thanks for less.
meanwhile Diamond is important to me. They still give me more than any other casino/hotel.

LOL Diamond IS the new Platinum

their winnings
Just a quick question-I have been platinum for years and they just bumped me to gold-I have been playing the same and earning the same tier credits. Has this happened to anyone else?

Tried contacting by email but no answer. Just wanted to know if anyone else had the same thing happen to them. I play at PH.

Thanks!

Kim
