need recommendation for hotel on the strip for limited mobility lv first timers

A coworker asked for a hotel recommendation on the strip. He plans to go mid week in April. His 80 year old parents want to see the strip and all the nightly neon. They both walk, but one will need a wheel chair for anything very long. They will have a car. He thought they would probably like the Bellagio fountains and the garden. I thought maybe staying at Bellagio might be the best for them. Or would they find it easier to view the fountain show from Paris across the street?

Are there any school holidays during April when LV might be a little more crowded? He probably want to avoid the crowded times as much as he can.

Are there any guided tours of the strip where someone else takes you up and down the strip. He doesn't like to drive in crowds and I know he won't want to be driving on the strip.

All suggestions are appreciated.
Bell Limousine and Presidential Limousine both have 2 1/2 hour strip tour packages. They are called "Lights and Sights" tours. You are picked up in a Limo. The itinerary includes the Las Vegas sign, Bellagio Fountains, Mirage Volcano and Fremont Street, however the trip can be tailored to your wants and needs. You can get information at https://www.bell-trans.com. There is also a company that does double decker bus tours of the strip.

My wife has been in a wheel chair for the past few months due to a broken femur and we have found that all of the hotels on the strip are handicapped accessible.

THe only concern I would have with Bellagio is that it is a very big property which can make for longer walks. Perhaps a smaller property might be better. The Mirage comes to mind.
Mirage/TI/Venetian - all great locations. The walkways across the intersections all have lifts - so no problem there. I took someone in a wheelchair last year and the biggesst problem was pushing it on the carpets in the casinos. We stayed at TI and it was a great location for the neon (we usually stay MGM or Hilton) but you probab;y need to be more central.

Mirage sounds like a great place for them. I'll suggest Mirage and the Bell Limousine tour. I'm hoping he will book the 2 rooms now so he secures the prices, even Bellagio was reasonable mid April.
