New name for Caesars?

I hit a small reportable jackpot at Caesars in LV in February, got paid and was given the pink carbon copy of W2-G.

Today in the mail comes another (nicer copy) W2-G for the jackpot.
The payer's name is DESERT PALACE, INC. D/B/A Caesars P

Have y'all seen this name before?

Evidently not new. I Googled DESERT PALACE, INC. and it shows up associated with Caesars at least back to 2002. Also, one of the responses was actually on Caesars web site in regard to wire transfers

Candy...the licenses are sold, and no reason to change the names, sayeth bureaucrats. My NOLA w2g read jazz casino. I'm pretty sure the gov'na shook 'em down, but that's still CET's name for the records, in NOLA. Good luck!

Jazz Casino...makes sense for a New Orleans joint.

Desert Palace...OK, but later, how to theme it?? Sand, camels, genies, flying carpets...they've SO been done.

What about the grandeur of the Roman era, Anthony and Cleopatra...Caesar (and relatives)...hey, how about Caesar's Palace?!!

It has always been Desert Palace Inc d/b/a Caesars Palace.
