New TR Tier levels in effect Jan 1

I just made platinum my last day at Bally's/Flamingo (10/16). Next trip isn't until 1/14 Ballys A.C. I'm glad I got it done now...no Diamond in my future! Not sure what if anything Platinum gets me but i'm gonna learn quick in Jan.

I use it to cut the lines. Most of the hotels have a platinum checkin and so do the buffets and the cashiers.It has sure saved me hours over the years at the Harrahs buffet and also you get champagne a nice little extra perk.

It doesn't get you better comps but sometimes upgraded rooms Enjoy.

Ouch - I will miss the Diamond Lounges so I will have to get my fill next year.

Well if that is what's required 2013 to earn Diamond, will make sure Hubby earns those last 490 tier points before 12/31/12. I've got 4, 300 to earn, but it's not happening. Was going to wait and do DIAD, but they'll probably up that requirement or discontinue it.
We use it mainly for lines and sometimes Diamond lounges. Guess we'll be looking for other casinos or new hobby for 2014.
I've emailed CET for confirmation of these new tier requirements and if DIAD will be offered in 2013 and at what cost. Will post their reply.

It should be that 15,000 is the number of tier credits that must be earned for Diamond by the end of 2013, no ?

My husband is the one who makes Diamond, Iand usually squeak by with Platinum. Now that the tier level is going up, I will probably forego my Platinum and play on his card instead. That will make up the 4,000 point difference.

Two can play this ever-changing game.

Definitely play on one card whenever you can. Just keep adding a point to the second card at least every 6 months. We have found that with me and Diamond and her a gold that has worked fine. Have known folks that were both Diamond and no big advantage unless you want to take two guests into Diamond Lounge or eat at different times at buffet or restaurant so can each use Diamond lines.

I emailed the new tier requirements for each level. I also asked if DIAD will be offered next year and at what tier credit amount.

Got a reply from CET, non committal at this point, but hints maybe there will be changes.

I would suggest keeping an eye on our website for any updates. ( I isolated this line)
