New TR Tier levels in effect Jan 1

It won't be hard to get those 15,000 tier credits if you want to receive "bonus Gift wrap up points. Today I received a February offer for 3 comped nights at "The Quad" and I get 6,000 Great Gift Wrap Up Bonus points. Apparently there will be 5 or 6 of these events during 2013.
Here's their plan

"Earn 5,000 tier credits per Great Gift Wrap Up bonus Event and receive additional bonus points."

so if you attend 5 of these events and earn 5,000 tier credits each event, you'll be Diamond for sure. Are they kidding 5,000 tier credits each time I attend 1 of these "events" are they going to give me tons of free play to earn those 5,000 tier credits?

I had also recently received an offer I think was for Reno or Tahoe giving me $240 in free play if I earned 4,000 tier credits over 3 days.

The new levels are now officially posted on Caesars web site.

Got the announcement in today's mail.
Besides the tier level changes and bonus tier credits, there is also now "Level
II and III Diamond" at 40K and 80K tier points
Level II gets you a 4 night stay at any Total Rewards destination.
Level III adds a flight to that trip, plus companion card for your guest, round
trip transportation to the airport, a more lucrative rate for redemptions of
Reward Credits for free play, and waived fees for check cashing and credit card
advances.
Some additional 7* benefits also, including "Complimentary early check-in and late check-out" makes me wonder if now everyone else will be charged for early check-ins.
Also DIAD is still available for 5K tier credits

Hmm, if they take away the late check-out for Diamond I will seriously have to reconsider -- that 2 pm check out is my favorite perk.

Considering 7 stars get free rooms, late checkout is not really a perk. Just book an extra day if you want to stay late. I've done it the other way too. Want to check in at 8am? Just book for the night before and have them put you in as a morning arrival.

I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts on the subject. I still have not received anything "official" in the mail as I heard was on the way, but I pulled this up on the CET website just this second.

Looks like there are extra perks for Diamond and now different levels of diamond (I, II and III). Diamonds now get celebration dinner every year plus better free play redemption rates.
