New Visa Card

Has anyone received their new card? I'm wondering if the card actually did come with the Buffet of Buffet Coupon. I just signed up my Hubby with no problem. When I signed me up, it said I would hear in ten days. I called them, and e mailed but they couldn't help. I've never been turned down for anything, have excellent credit rating.

I am a little leery of this bank horrible reviews and many complaints so I giving it a few months.

OK - applied online & received card in about 7 days.
It DID come with the certificate for the Buffet of Buffets - you need to take the certificate to a Total Reward Center (in Vegas), before you use it. It's not valid on Holidays,etc. & there's a few other restrictions, but otherwise, looks good to me.
The card is good for 3 years.

Im wondering about the platinum upgrade (for us lowly gold minions)

When I applied, it was mentioned in the offer.

Upon receipt of the card, there was no mention of this benefit.

Not saying that it won't occur - just that there was no info about it.

I maybe wish I would have seen this thread earlier regarding the reviews for the bank, but it's too late. They didn't give me a great interest rate nor credit limit, but this is the type of card I'll make sure to pay off every month.

I have received my cards today (I got one for my partner as well) and they did send 2 coupons for 2 24 hour buffets! Right there, it's worth $200. We're even thinking we could combine the 2 for 48 hours of buffet, although that might be a little much.

Like the previous post, it doesn't mention Platinum Status or how to achieve it. I assume you have to go to a Caesars property to upgrade, although I've noticed Platinum doesn't really get you anything except 15% off merchandise. In the end though, every little bit helps!

I have to wonder just how much use they think people will give their card with the high rates and low charge limits they are giving out. I have a credit rating well above 830 and they gave me a limit of $4500 at a 14% interest rate. Oh well. That will get them a $750 one month, paid off, and done, use. That way i'll benefit from the 10,000 RC credits which i'll use at the restaurants at the new Horseshoe Casino here in Cincinnati. All in all a good deal for me since i gave up on being a Diamond card holder long ago when CET got so tight and stingy with their players. Now i'll stay with the old Visa from BOA at 7.99% and get cheap air fare. Win win for me!
