Am I correct you have to the Buffet coupon to Total Rewards and they activate it there ? What if you want to use it for breakfast before they open ? This doesn't sound right.

I just used the buffet of buffets coupon. You take it to total rewards to activate it.it starts the minute it is activated. They also ask to see the visa credit card

That is the typical BS which I find lately dealing with CET. This is a 24 hour USAGE coupon. Why should the 24 hours start at the rewards center. It should start at first usage. I do not plan to eat at the rewards center. Now instead of activating at the customer's convenience the customer will have to visit the rewards center immediately before using the coupon or risk losing much of its value. That is probably not a major problem but it is an inconvenience. I have been a loyal CET user but the things I have encountered with CET in the last six months (early check-in fees, resort fees, increase in room rates on the CET website (at least for us) and rules that are implemented at the convenience of CET rather than the customers) are really testing my loyalty.

We had to show the certificate that came with the Credit Card at the Total Rewards center. They activate it at Total Rewards and the time does start as soon as they activate it. The certificate itself is good for up to 6 months from the date of issue of the Credit Card. That is what we were told anyway.

I wrote to Comenity Bank to inquire if I need the "certificate, coupon or leaflet" to get the Buffet of Buffet offer. My answer from Comenity was, they did not know what I was talking about because the offer is from Total Rewards.

Can anyone tell me if I need the "certificate, coupon or leaflet" to get the offer with the new credit card from Comenity Bank or do I get it from the Total Reward Center?

You need the coupon. I just used mine a couple weeks ago in Vegas.

I received a flyer looking thing with my credit card. Is this the coupon that they are talking about? It looks like an ad, but I am guessing and hoping this is the coupon. This is all I received that referenced the 24 hour buffet deal.

I just returned from Vegas where I forgot both the credit card and the certificate. I had my daughter
take a picture of the credit card and e-mail it to me. They gave me the two passes without looking at
the e-mail or me giving them an account number.

They evidently have a record on their computers of when you signed up for the card and whether or not you have redeemed the pass. I had earned the $100 in reward credits for spending the required amount so I don't know if that had something to do with their being a record of my having the card. In any event we received and used the two passes.

We just got back from Vegas. If anyone is interested, the buffets at Rio, Paris and Planet Hollywood all had Platinum entrances separate from the main entrances. Made the lines much shorter!
