Avoid rooms at either Flamingo or Bally's Indigo Tower within sight of Drais unless it is on nights that the club is closed.
A few weeks ago we had the most beautiful view from a room ever, looking out at the Las Vegas Boulevard & Flamingo intersections. We couldn't believe our luck and sent pictures to everyone we know, but then shortly after midnight we were awakened from a dead sleep and kept awake til after 4 from the so-called music at the club. This week we changed to Bally's and thought the low floor of the Indigo tower was far enough away to not be a problem - WRONG! Another sleepless night - Not quite as loud, but still loud enough to wake us from a sound sleep and then Boom, Boom, Boom til almost daylight.
For the $ that Drais brings in and for the $ it cost, I don't expect the situation to ever change, but I'd sure like to know if the decision makers at Caesar's were aware of the terrible affect on hotel guests in the adjacent buildings. Don't even answer that ---- they had to know and the $ won out over hotel guests. Very disappointing.
