Noise from Drais

Avoid rooms at either Flamingo or Bally's Indigo Tower within sight of Drais unless it is on nights that the club is closed.

A few weeks ago we had the most beautiful view from a room ever, looking out at the Las Vegas Boulevard & Flamingo intersections. We couldn't believe our luck and sent pictures to everyone we know, but then shortly after midnight we were awakened from a dead sleep and kept awake til after 4 from the so-called music at the club. This week we changed to Bally's and thought the low floor of the Indigo tower was far enough away to not be a problem - WRONG! Another sleepless night - Not quite as loud, but still loud enough to wake us from a sound sleep and then Boom, Boom, Boom til almost daylight.

For the $ that Drais brings in and for the $ it cost, I don't expect the situation to ever change, but I'd sure like to know if the decision makers at Caesar's were aware of the terrible affect on hotel guests in the adjacent buildings. Don't even answer that ---- they had to know and the $ won out over hotel guests. Very disappointing.

We worried about that when we stayed at the Flamingo in November. We were on the 22nd floor at the very end of the hallway. When you looked out of our room way right was Drai's. We were way above it with a fantastic view of the Bellagio Fountains. Didn't hear anything from Drai's but we were there Mon-Thurs. Maybe they are a weekend thing.
Whew! Thursday night is my last night at Bally's in the Indigo Tower, BUT that will be Christmas night so am not sure if that means more or less partying at Drai's. LOL Maybe I will just plan to bring earplugs or stay up all night myself.
I had a reservation for 5 nights at the Cromwell, Sunday - Friday in early December. I had stayed
at the Cromwell in August and was looking forward to it. That was quickly ruined by the noise in my
room on Sunday evening.

The following morning after a basically sleepless night I was on my way to ask the front desk to change my hotel for the rest of the week to another hotel when I found out Drais late night noise is "only" Thursday - Sunday, 10PM-4AM.

I stayed at the Cromwell Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and did change hotels on Thursday to the Linq to check out the renovations there while getting away from the noise at the Cromwell.

I didn't realize the noise was also an issue at the Flamingo & Bally's, so glad I didn't ask to be transferred to one of them! In any event, I now know - stay away from those three hotels Thursday thru Sunday!

The parking @ Cromwell is also terrible! Even if you are a guest, stay there over a weekend, took 10 minutes to get to the valet. The hotel is a good concept that was poorly executed.
