North or South Tower at Bally’s?

I want to book 3 nights at Bally’s, but I am not familiar with the property. Which tower is most convenient to the casino and/or parking? Any thoughts on your preferences?

TIA,

Cyndee
Most people always say the North tower on this site.I have stayed there and the room is large and very functional and convenient to the casino.I have never had a car is Vegas so can't give you a answer on that.Enjoy your trip
Thank you, mannyo. It's sounding more and more like we will enjoy it. Does anybody else want to weigh in on this? I'd like to hear more.
Bally's and Paris share the same parking deck and there is no difference for the two towers. Once you learn the back and side entrance, parking is no problem. Never ever attempt to enter parking from the Strip, pedestrians make too much a hassle.

The North Tower is newer but not new, it's rooms and bathrooms are larger. Some South Tower rooms have very good views of the Strip and Bellagio fountains. The South Tower is a shorter walk to the Strip sidewalk. It is also the old MGM Grand and may of may not be haunted since that day in 1980.

I have never had a bad south tower room.

Thank you, rockymet and BCFahren. I’m thinking South Tower so far. Keep the input coming. It is much appreciated.

This is one of the most commonly asked questions. If you do a search you will gets lots of opinions from previous threads. My opinion is that the South Tower has the best views of the strip and the North Tower has nicer rooms with nicer furniture. North Tower is slightly closer to the parking garage. We prefer to valet.
One more thing to add. When you are staying at Bally's you can avoid the crush of people at the strip cross over bridge by crossing Flamingo at the crosswalk beside Bally's. Just exit the front door and turn right, there is a signal light and crosswalk and no crowds or beggars and you saved a few steps.
Thanks, Orchid. I appreciate you trying to save me time. The search feature led me on a wild goose chase. I got better, more current answers by asking my question straight out. It’s funny how a search helps sometimes, or doesn’t.

Your tip about the crosswalk will come in handy and I like your contrasts of the towers. Thanks again,

Cyndee
I prefer North Tower because elevators go direct to Sportsbook/Pool/Monorail Level. You'd have to cross through casino if in South Tower.
