It had a bad failure during testing when it was empty!
Ten years back my buddy and I did that ride and it REALLY beats you up!
The shoulder restraints dug into our shoulders and left bruises that took 3 days to heal.

It's not a real roller coaster unless there's some risk of injury or death. It's Vegas! Gambling!
(I always thought it was a silly idea from the get-go, but it was built during what I call "The Exploding Tigers Era," when Vegas was trying to re-invent itself as a family destination, which made about as much sense as putting bars and strip clubs in Disneyland.)
