Obtaining Diamond status; a question

Hi guys. I hope everyone is well and enjoying their summer.

I should know the answer to this question but alas I do not, so here goes.

Q: I spend a fair amount of time in CET properties but I am not Diamond. What is your personal best advice for achieving Diamond Status? Just pound away on a 9/6 JoB? 100 play DDB at a low denomination? Throw in some slot play?

I appreciate any and all input.

Thanks cats!
Play to 1000 tier credits in a day, so that you get the matching 1000, rather than gambling a smaller amount in more trips. Remember that you need twice the coin in for video poker per tier credit earned , although your return will be better in the long run. bob
Thank you Sir. I will make that adjustment.
You have to know when to quit. This past weekend I earned 1000 pts, plus 1000 bonus. I lost $1000 doing that. The weekend before I earned 500 pts and got 125 bonus. I broke even that weekend. Which would you prefer?

I'll take door number two MCL. That $1,000 would get you quite a few room nights & meals.

Thx for the info
Here is the important point which may have been missed;
Gamble the same amount over the course of a year, just do it in fewer trips.
Lets say you normally earn 500 tier credits but go every week. Simply go every two weeks, earn the extra thousand tier credits and enjoy the extra benefits of Diamond. Your net Win/Losses will be the same for the year either way. Bob
Gotcha MB. I will absolutely play with that "1,000 TP gets you a bonus of 1,000 TP" in mind. Makes perfect sense.
montecarloss, I've found myself chasing those last 100 tier point to make either the 500 or the 1000 tier on 3 differnt occasions Was doing ok either up a little or even until I went after those last tier points. I've finished my Diamond quest and am planning a 2 day stay at Rincon this month. No serious gambling. Planning on visiting the tourist things in the area I haven't seen and enjoying the new pool area. I do feel I've invested less this year to earn Diamond with the new system than I had previous years under the old system. If my bankroll had been bigger, I would have done the 2500 tier points a day for 2 days.
R7, I've heard about LVA members playing to 2,500 TP's and then getting the 5,000 TP bonus. It seems that doing that twice would get one the 15,000 points needed for Diamond. I'll certainly look at that option later this month when I'm at Harrah's & Harveys Lake Tahoe.

2,500 Tier points +
5,000 Tier point bonus+
2,500 Tier points+
5,000 Tier point bonus=

15,000 tier points = Diamond
I personally have a hard time getting to 1000 tier credits, 2500 is way too much work ! Bob
