Octavious Tower vs Augustus Tower

Has anyone stayed in the Octavious Tower?
How would you compare it to the Augustus Tower?

Will be in LV for the Super Bowl weekend and seeing some decent offers.
Yes we stayed in the Octavious Tower. There is not much difference, you have to walk a lot futher to get to the Octavious Tower, but not much difference in the rooms ,they are both real nice, have fun
I like Octavious because of the "fresher" rooms. The view will not be as good as in Augustus though. Also a tip - the back walkway past the pool area is actually pretty close to the Palace Casino and Buffet, Rao's ect....it is a further hike out to the strip though.
I prefer Augustus. Octavius is a tad newer but basically the same room. I'm pretty sure the only view you can get of Octavius is of the pool. Not having a strip view matters to me a lot as I really want to see strip lights -- possibly even the Bellagio fountains -- when staying at Caesars. That's possible in the Augustus rooms and I'm pretty sure that's not possible in the Octavius rooms. The hike back to those elevators is long as well. But, the rooms themselves are very nice. I stayed there last NYE.

As mentioned, not much difference in room design. NOthing special.

However, I will say that the bed we had in Octav this last vist was THE BEST ever.
Last 2 trips, requested and preferred Augustus, but it seems everyone has had a taste of Octavius and prefers Augustus, so at our time of check in it was a long wait for Augustus if you wanted a king bed. That tells you something.

If you don't mind 2 queen beds instead of king it might get you in Augustus faster.

Our first Octavius room had issues. This time it was OK, except as FFlowers and other said, a long walk.

Both times, the Octavius bathroom TV didn't have a remote, and only like 5 channels.
We had a pretty good fountain view from the OT last Jan - the Flamingo Rd side has the "backview" actually and the rooms toward the strip end of the building would have views similar to the AT. I do agree that most people are preferring the AT since we have been moved to the OT 3 times, after booking AT. Sorry about the abbreviations - drives me crazy to type those names out and I usually mis-spell them!!
I actually preferred the Palace Tower room on our last stay. I loved having my own bathroom and it is actually not far from the casino. We do not usually leave the property to roam around the strip so my measurement is the walk to the casinos, restaurants and shows - not out to the strip.
Similar rooms but longer walk and I believe 1 sink not 2 as in Augustus
Thank you all for your input.

I found out that Octavious does not have its own exercise room or spa. Those are in the Augustus Tower.

That did it for me. Not worth paying exra money in January . If the pool was a priority, I might think about
it. But then, Place tower might be better.

Maybe time to get friendly with Total Rewards again.
