Offers really dropped

Has anyone else had their offers really drop? I use to get offers from Bally's for slot play or gift cards for $300 but now they are down to only $100. I made diamond for the 13th year in a row after a 4 day trip over the 4th of July. RC's were over 10,000 for the trip. I played way more then the 4 hours everyday. and my offers drop to a measly $100? any ideas as to why??? would it do any good to call my host and see if she could get the offers bumped up? would to know if any others have had their offers drop or did I just piss them off somehow?
Has your daily average changed?
I am really puzzled by (and very tired of) Harrah's dropping offers down to near-nothing for no apparent reason.

Do they really think that I want to pay a $99 fee to play in one of their slot tournaments?

Do they really think that I want to stay at the Quad?

Do they think that I will enjoy a cut in my free slot play to a level 75% lower than it previously was?

We have great deals from MGM Mirage through MyVegas (many of their hotels waive the resort fee). How can they possibly compete with MyVegas with the meager (often laughable) offers we are getting from HET now?

And no, our daily play level hasn't dropped. It's actually increased in several visits earlier this year.

last trip was Monday - Thursday. played the 3/5 line, .25 VP like I always do. played at least 5 hours per day. Thursday was almost 9 hours. Maybe it is time for a change. I need to find out more about this "myvegas" and get in on it. I have never stayed at any of the MGM properties but maybe I need to try them out on my next trip.

I am down to abt 120 offers from 150 a couple of weeks ago. They seem to be expiring and not being restocked. We have never gotten great offers anyway - just a small amount of freeplay and the random food credits. Our room calendar has held steady however and we continue to have comps at most props all days of the week. We will be at CP this week-end so cannot complain.
I am hard pressed to figure out how we would be able to do this well with myVegas. I play pretty consistently but have not had enough LPs for stays in the better props. We gave equal play to both companies a couple of years ago and ended up with CET when they started "giving" us all the free stuff. (In quotes since I know none of it is free" ;-) Somehow we have never been able to do as well with MLife.

Here's what happened to us: Years ago we used to stay a lot at MGM properties, mostly because of Wagerworks (game precursor to MyVegas), but also through regular slot club invitations. Then resort fees happened, we stayed away, the offers dried up, and we concentrated on Harrah's when we stayed on the strip. Offers were great for a long time (Elton, Bette, Cher, slot tournaments, other events). Now, not so much.

Then this year came MyVegas. The first time we redeemed and ate the Bellagio buffet courtesy of MyVegas, we did not play there because we had guests. The second time we ate the Bellagio buffet, we did play for less than an hour on quarter video poker at Bellagio.

Within days of our visit with play, we received numerous offers from most of the MGM hotels on the strip, and from Beau Rivage on the Gulf.

So don't rely too much on LP's. If you are already a customer of MGM, go give them some play when you eat in their restaurants on MyVegas.

Glad MGM likes you. For a lot more play at Bellagio, I've received nothing in terms of offers. I'm new to the MyVegas game and have not redeemed any offers.
I have been DIamond for the past 5 years and I noticed that my amount of free play/GC have dropped from an average of $300 to $100. I really make sure that my ADT stays in the $10K range per day. I have been playing at Caesers properties quite a bit and I wonder if they figure they can reduce the offer since I will be coming anyway. I wonder if I stopped playing so much, if the offer amounts would go up?

Ted, you might be on to something. Comparing your input with other I have received would indicate a marketing effort toward "climbers."
Well I don't know what I did to make my offers drop, but during my 4th July trip, I also stayed at the Orleans on a $300 Macy's gift card offer. checked in on Saturday night, played 2 hours but could not stay awake any longer so called it a night. played all day on Sunday and checked out on Monday. Just got an offer for first of Oct for $100 gift card. I think that I am just going to stay away from Vegas for a few months and see if the offers don't get better. with $450 in air flights, the $100 is just not worth it any more.
