Offers really dropped

I just made Diamond a couple of months ago and my offers have gone from 155 to 66. Yay! So glad I made the effort to achieve the next level.
Not sure if this has happened yet or is relevant, read somewhere that the current "head" (for lack of the exact term) of the Las Vegas Area Casinos/maybe Nevada was moving to Atlantic City and the same person from the Midwest area was moving to be in charge of Las Vegas. Perhaps?

Lol. CET never stops giving.
My offers have dried up big time. I use to be able to see them for a couples months out, no new ones for some time. I even looked at what might rates would be for November, $$$$. I used to be able to at least get a few nights comped nothing at all now. Not sure what is up.

On a related note, I have a mailer inviting me to stay in Atlantic City any day in September at any of their properties. They cut me off in Las Vegas last March, but continued to get room offers in AC where I do visit
at least once a month. I called in about the mailer and was told that there were no comped rooms available
anytime in September. The web site also shows no offers.

I spoke to a host at the Showboat who was generous in the past. He told me to "start playing slots or roulette" if I wanted to get comped.
I recently became Diamond after having dropped to Platinum level for a few years, and the same thing has happened to me.

I used to receive invitational video poker and slot tournament offers every month. What I liked this year was that every tournament was cumulative in that I would get more and more up front free play (table voucher or machine) with each additional tournament in the series (up to $300.00) that I entered. Suddenly it all changed and, like many of you have mentioned, I too am only receiving lame tournament offers for the bargain price of $99.

I've never had to pay for a CET tournament ever, even years ago when I was Gold. As far as play, I have actually increased my play.

I called CET Marketing and discussed my concerns. In a nutshell, this was her response: "CET is trying out some different ideas to see how they work." I responded that the new approach will probably work great if their intent is to lose customers.

Actually, she was a very nice lady, but a moron must be running the marketing department.
I have been Diamond for 8-10 years. My Las Vegas offers dried up a couple of years ago, I don't even get
the $99 slot tournament invitation and I think the most free slot play I've gotten is $10.

I have contacted Caesar's multiple times to question my lack of offers and their answer was I wasn't playing
enough to justify what they were giving me - which in the past 2 years has just been free rooms and I haven't
used that many of them. While I've been getting nothing my Gold friends and family have been getting
tournament offers and free rooms.

My question to them is since I visit Las Vegas 3-4 times a year - with maybe additionally a once a year or
less frequent trip to Atlantic City - how have I maintained Diamond status if I'm not playing enough.

Ironically, I get many offers from Atlantic City.

I have transitioned to other Casinos in Las Vegas - Bellagio, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Palazzo and The Wynn
when on the strip and Red Rock, The M, Gold Coast and Sam's Town when off strip. All of whom send me
free play, rooms, and tournament offers.

I am renewing as Platinum at Caesar's this year because I did make my annual visit to Atlantic City last month
and I stuck with the Caesar's casinos -except for a day at Borgata - because as bad as I find the Caesar's
casinos the other ones are even worse. Platinum kind of evolved from that visit.
My offers have dried up too. My Atlantic City freeplay has gone from averaging $100 on a good day, as recently as June, to now.... drum roll please, a max of $5 in free play. This is with my daily average this year being up from prior years. I made Diamond in February. My offers are now down to 17, from 60 or so 4 months ago. My decade long quarterly Harrahs Laughlin food coupons have now stopped after declining over the past 4 years.

Reading others similar cutbacks at least makes me feel like I am not singled out here!
