One thing I hate about TR online booking.

I had to cancel our trip this week at the very last minute. I have to say the lady at Total Rewards was

very helpful when I called to cancel/rebook. We couldn't get the same room because it was a limited time offer

but she spent considerable time and effort to insure she got me a good deal for our rebooked dates.

When it comes to the online system I have to say I really like it for the most part.

One thing I really dislike about the online system though, is that now that I have a booking for my new dates,

I cannot log on and look myself for deals on the same dates. This really bothers me. I checked using my wife's

account (who has considerably less points and zero offers) and I can already beat what I got over the phone.

(rebooking was the only option, as cancelling would have resulted in losing my deposit)

Now, I know I could call them back, or I could book the dates through my wife's account, but that's not really my

point. Part of the fun of Vegas for me is that even prior to going it can be enjoyable planning and trying to score

the best deal. With the system set up this way I cannot do that once I have a booking.
I like to do the same thing - continue looking for room deals after a reservation has been made.

A way to do so is to log in to your TR account, click reservations, put in destination, future dates beyond the reservation dates already made, & companions players card info. Click Check Rates then click Rate Calendar in the Shopping Tools box at the bottom left of the screen. You can then view dates you have already booked and see if the rate has changed. I do this often and rates have often changed for the better. I then modify my reservation online, or if the modify will not give me the new rates, cancel the original reservation and rebook it.

Thanks for the tip Allen!!
YES, thank you Allen! I had the same issue.

Thank you for that information. Just checked the non comped days for our Jan. trip and they were lower. Never knew you could do that. Great info!!!
