We have already done Ak-chin and Las Vegas. Our September trip will be drive to Rincon, head North to Lake Tahoe, stop in Reno, back through Las Vegas again and finally Laughlin. All 6 locations will give us $600 each in bonus points. Think of all the fun ways to spend that extra comp $$
Very, very nice. I did AC and I'll be in Vegas this month. My third will be either Laughlin (never been there before and would rather not spend a day away from Vegas) or Chester, PA, which I understand is about 20-30 minutes south of Philadelphia. If I do one of them I'll have $150 and if I do both I'll have $300 in Comps, which will be nice, but I'd really love the $600.
Elaine's retirement road trip. Overnight in St Louis then catch Kansas City on the run. Figure we will need to spend a night near Oklahoma City and one near Albuquerque on the way to a night at Ak-Chin. Then catch Laughlin on the way to Vegas.
Before this started, had plans for Las Vegas in July and Reno in August(free flight thanks to Harrahs). Added a quick trip to Rincon the week before LV, then swung by Laughlin on our way to LV. Renting a car for a day in Reno to drive to Tahoe to use our free play then return to Reno for Hot August Nights. Would like to get to Ak-Chin, but tired of driving and cost of airfare almost as much as the extra $150 that visit would give us.
So 3 of us at $450 in reward credits = $1350. That should cover rooms and food for a while since we've wiped out our average this year on purpose.
This thread reminded me that I needed to call and book a room at Harrahs Reno. Now, I just need to convince the Twiddles that we're spending the night in Reno on our way home from Sacramento. Since I'm making Mrs T a birthday feast today, this should be easy.
Caesars Windsor done, Starting in 3 weeks a month long road trip to include Reno, Tahoe, Vegas, Laughlin. I am so bummed I can't squeeze one more in. I have never been to Laughlin but it was free on a Saturday night and I had to pay in LV. I have a car already and it gives me an extra 150 in comps so it's a no brainer.
Does anyone know if the Harrahs in Phoenix is easier/nicer drive to get to than the Harrahs in San Diego from either Vegas, Reno or Laughlin?
I would rather go to Phoenix as it would be a different ride for me and I suspect less traffic/hassle, but not sure. I have not been to either Harrah's.
I will be in Tahoe and Vegas and possibly Laughlin next couple of weeks so just wondering what people think about how to get in another Harrahs in either Phoenix or San Diego from Nevada somewhere.
