If you are leaving from Michigan, you might be better off stopping at the Horshoe in Hammond instead of Joliet. If you are not staying over, the Horshoe is a lot nicer than Joliet. And you would save some travel time by not having to head off the interstate into Joliet. We just did a big trip from Wisconsin. To Council Bluff (550 miles), Kansas City, St Louis and Metropolis (650 miles) and then back up to Joliet. Got 5 done in 72 hours and had one in Vegas, so we are set. Good luck and travel safe.
