Paris Anniversary invite questions

Well I was invited for a dinner, a room, & a gift to celebrate the 16th Anniversary of Paris, seem like it's been around a lot longer than that to me.

Would this be worth the trip? It's about 1 week after we return home from a tournament in Vegas. We'd be driving as we are in the Los Angeles area. I'm Diamond level, but in the lower level.

Any insight/suggestions will be appreciated.

Personally (and just IMO), if you have a fondness for Paris (this one) and it doesn't cost you a ton to travel to Vegas, it might be worth it.

I got that invite too, but I have no deep attachment to Paris and do not plan on going. I might have if it co-incided with dates I was going anyway. In my experience with those dinners/gifts, the juice isn't worth the squeeze, again in regard to cost and effort to get there.

I think you should go and then write a trip report. We would all like to know what how it went.

No great attachment to Paris or I might have decided to go, but it's just too close to our trip next week to Vegas to go back.. I figure they are getting "to the bottom of the barrel" when I get some of these types of offers.
