Paris Dancers

Paris has been our go-to place since we stayed there shortly after it opened. We were there in early June and I was disappointed to find table dancers. Paris has always had a classic and romantic atmosphere and in my opinion this does not fit in Paris. I didn't like it when they added them at the flamingo entrance, but ok they draw a lot of young people and I don't spend much time in there anyway. But there are a lot of women who also play blackjack- am I the only one that thinks Paris is slumming it by doing this? Or should they add some male dancers too?! My opinion - they are trying to attract the young crowd that used to frequent the Palms- but the Palms is not doing so good. So Paris, why go from romantic to this?
I agree with you. Not every property has to have the "young, sexy, hip" vibe. Do you remember if they had any $5 bj with a 3:2 payout and no CSM?

Thanks, I was hoping it wasn't just me that felt that way. No $5 with 3:2; and I think not all of the $10 is still 3:2. That was disappointing because I do enjoy playing blackjack there because they had 3:2. Maybe some of the other readers can confirm this.
No $5 and I don't think you will find 3:2 payout on BJ at any Harrahs property now that O'Sheas is shut down. Sometimes they have $5 tables at the entry way to Flamingo especially during the summer but, those tables don't even get opened on most days due to the heat and lack of foot traffic.

I'm with you. Seems like once one casino did this and it attracted big money they all thought it was the route to go. Pretty soon there won't be any place for gamblers to play anymore as it seems all the casinos want these days are the young hipsters that blow through cash in a hurry. Someday, when all of those little pussies are broke, the casinos will open their eyes and say, of shit, we effed up.
Please no male dancers!!!!
I don't like the dancers eitger. Besides, they look like they are just going through the motions anyway. Obviously, they make a ton of money on the nightclub, so I can see why they are trying to attract a younger crowd.

Not being part of the "younger crowd" anymore, I liked not having a bunch of silly drunks running around. I try never to be silly myself, lol. I thought it was perfect for the 35+ group before.

PH has a much younger vibe.

Table dancers...tacky.

Walking through...someplace, seems like it was Mandalay Bay?...a gal was table dancin' to the (very) loud music. All guys playing, not one was paying a bit of attention to the dancer. Maybe the dancer attracted them to sit down, but the attraction apparently didn't last long.
I was at Paris in February and played 3/2 $10 BJ. I hope the dancing girls are gone by the time I am there the end of August. People who want dancing girls can go to PH.
I'm thinking the girls are there to stay. They took out a section of slots to put in that area so I doubt it is going anywhere soon.
