Paris, Flamingo or ? - Help with a CET property

Thanks for the answer Dave, I figured maybe I was looking too soon. Last year we were sleeping in on a Sun and Eric rolled over and said "Let's go to Vegas" !?! From a man who had never left the state before he met me. I hopped up and checked MGM found they were booked solid but managed a room at the Sig for 4 nights for a super low price. I'll sit tight for now and keep reading TR's while pretending to work lol!

We tried both buffets and preferred PH over Paris (he's a meat and potatoes kinda guy). I have a pretty big itinerary for us so I don't see us staying in 1 prop for too long.

I also want to thank everyone for their insight again.
I also agree that you are booking too early. You should be getting your Sept. offers in June or July. I like staying in a "P" room at Paris. It is a large room at the end of the hall with large windows on 2 walls. I book a regular room and then ask for an upgrade to a "P" room when I check in, so there is not extra charge. I assume you have read the thread about Paris, and why people like staying there.
Ok friends,

We went to Harrah's today to make sure our points don't expire and to get my replacement card. I logged on and there were no offers but when checking rates for all the hotels this is what I came up with.
We have $600 in r/c between the two of us to use.

1. Paris - 832.00 + tax for a deluxe room
2. Harrahs 221 for the same time. 5 of 9 nights comped - Classic Room
3. Flamingo 260 for the same time 5 of 9 nights comped - Deluxe Room
4. Flamingo 280 for the same time 5 of 9 nights comped Fab Deluxe
5. Flamingo 320 for the same time 5 of 9 nights comped Fab Lux Room

Ok so 1st off no clue how I got comped rooms. When we were there last I played a little bit (think like $100 max) mainly watched Eric play.
I had my heart set on Paris but FREE is FREE right? With our 600 we could pay for any of the rooms and have $ to eat.

So yet again here are some questions.

- Harrah's or Flamingo? I always manage to get an upgrade and it is our anniversary and his birthday so we are celebrating
- If Flamingo which room from the offer should I pick?
- Should I sit and wait or jump on this now??
-Eric has actual offers on his card but not valid in Sept, should we sit and wait?
-Ok so the comp rooms are on there today but could they disappear tomorrow? Don't want to have regret.

Thanks again for your input!
-edited, entered in travel companions TR # and rates dropped more!
Jen, I suggest you wait - I realize that it's hard to hear that!!

BUT... Paris is SO much nicer than Harrahs or Flamingo!!

Tell you what, just for fun, look at the rates for May, June, July and August - for the same properties.

You may see quite a few comp, or really low rates for Paris (also Planet Hollywood).

If you make a reservation now, chances are, you won't receive any "special offers" from them, for the dates you have reserved.

They're funny like that!!

Jen, when you log into your total rewards account and go to reservations, there is a line for a companions number. Put that in and you should find some better offers on the rate calender.
Hi, I also received comps for the "regular" rooms however I also want to make sure we have an updated room and not a "tired looking room" It is our anniversary and I want a room that makes us feel special even if we are in it for a short time. My thought has been pay for what you can afford and if you get an upgrade than that's all the better!

I want a view of the fountains not the parking lot so I want to be guaranteed what I want. Just saying...Don't settle for less unless you really don't care... We are booked for a Red Room Premier so I will report back if we get an upgrade ...Crossing our fingers!

Jen, are you sure you want to stay 9 nights? I know you have been to Las Vegas before, but that is long, even for us. I would take the 5 free nights, and then be happy to go home and start your new life together.

If you do stay 9 nights, just do 5 nights on you, and 4 nights on Eric, if all of them come up comped. If you see any of the weekend rooms comped, grab them.

9 nights is my kind of trip! LOL
