Paris Host and Total Reward Credits

Can anyone give me the name of a good VIP host at the Paris ? It's like musical chairs in the Diamond Check In. We have had some great ones in the past but they have either changed properties or let CET altogether. The last one wouldn't give us the time of day or return our phone calls even when I bought him a nice thank you gift after begging him to help me with my reservation.
Also, I have over 11,000 reward credits that my TR profile say are going to expire in August. We aren't going back to LV until Sept. What should I do ? Should I give our cards to a friend to play some slots for us who is going to LV in a few weeks or try to call TR and tell them the situation? Any suggestions please !
Total Rewards points expire if there is no activity for six months after the last point earned. I believe there is no exception, so calling somebody won't help.

You can ask your friend to play a short time on your card, which will reset the six month time frame for you and keep your points intact until August. The downside is that it will look like "short play" which can temporarily affect your offers, but if you already have your August trip booked, don't sweat that.

You could sign up for the CET credit card, if they still have that.
You earn TR points with purchases so that you don't get caught losing your TR points if you don't play for six months. They may have something with their online games that earns points also. I don't do those, but check the CET web site and see what is available.
Thank you Candy. I used TR Credit card to get my points and for some reason I thought they never expired. Also, we are not going until Sept. and the points supposedly expire in August.
Sorry for the stutter.

Anyway, I guess have your friend play on your TR card while they are in Vegas. Even short play better than losing those points.

And don't sweat a Host, if you've only earned Diamond by using the credit card. They want us in the casino losing our money.

I quit giving Host gifts long ago. One less thing to stress over, and it does little good anyway if your goal is getting better comps.

Yikes!

My understanding is if you have the TR credit card your points never expire
If you're not able to visit one of the non-Vegas locations, I'd ask a friend to play a short while on your card. You might want to talk to the host on duty. Unless someone is a high level player, there's only so much a host can do.
Make some purchases with the credit card NOW. Your profile on the web site should update with a new expiration date when points are earned.

It is probably just like the points we earn gambling...they all expire in six months if no activity since the last point earned. On the other hand, they never expire as long as you have gambling (or credit card) before six months since the last point earned. A sneaky way to keep us gambling in their joints (or using the credit card, from which CET makes money as well).

You may need to earn some points in March and April, to extend the expiry date well past your September trip date.

I automatically bill my Sunday newspaper subscription to the credit card, so every month there is a charge on it and the points never expire. Of course, seldom does a month go by that I'm not at a CET property.
Agree with above posters as long as you use your Total Rewards visa card they don't expire. You can only get Platinum by the card not Diamond. To keep Platinum after the first year you need to charge 5,000 on the card in a year.
