Paris or Planet Hollywood? Thoughts on this?

Room will be comp. Red Luxury or hip strip view or better if available. I have never stayed at PH.actually have never even been in the casino there. So I would like some opinions on how PH is as a whole. Casino, restaurants and room as well as Paris room vs. Planet Hollywood rooms.
Staying December so I am booking soon. Would really appreciate some feedback.

I dont like PH rooms..the ultra modern decor makes it seem like you are in a spaceship. Paris is more traditional...although the red rooms are a little tacky for my taste. Both are good quality rooms as far as comfort, bathroom, etc. The casinos suck at both places like most places on the strip - although last time I checked Planet Ho had a nice matchplay coupon thier funbook for guests...$25..but that was over a year ago.

Even though I like the red rooms at Paris I prefer PH's rooms to Paris'. The bathroom is larger with a separate, huge soaking tub and the toilet is in its own room. The bed and pillows are pretty comfy. The only downside is the room is very dark - only one small window in the room.

I like restaurants in both hotels and they are right next door to each other so that isn't an issue.

My big problem with Paris is I have never won a dime in their casino, lol.

Stayed at both and the rooms at PH are much roomier than at the Paris. Our last room at PH was overlooking the fountains and you could sit in the window and watch everything happening on the strip--very nice. As posted earlier the bathrooms are huge at PH. Didn't care for the room at Paris even though we got a free upgrade. It was small--to much furniture for the floor plan. Beautiful view though at the Paris.

I have stayed at both and prefer Paris. The rooms and hallways at PH are dark. Decor...meh. Bathrooms are larger at PH as mentioned if that is important to you.

I think you should always TRY new places- I have had amazing rooms in both hotels but I seem to have more pull at Paris- but PlanetHo does have some great Strip views (if you schmoozed the checkinling) and "new to you" adds another check off your checklist of firsts.

I like the rooms at PH better. As said above they are larger although on the dark side. More compfy beds at PH too. We always like to eat at Earl of Sandwich (open 24 hours) at PH also. The other big up side for us at PH is the ABC store for snacks, water, soda and that type of things in the Miracle Mile shops around the corner from Earl of Sandwich.

While I really like the bathroom at PH my husband found the chair in the room a real challenge.
It was very low, very soft and very deep and therefore uncomfortble for sitting and difficult to get out of.

I found the rooms too noisy. That is noise from the hall coming into the room. That is a function of the younger crowd at PH enjoying themselves. They keep later/earlier hours that we old folks.
Paris room area is much quieter.
