Paris or Planet Hollywood? Thoughts on this?

Had a not so pleasant experience at the Ho last trip (you can read all in my TR) so will be staying at Paris in November. My biggest dislike of the Ho is the noise. If that doesn't bother you, the beds were comfy and they do have good food selections.I think you would find good and bad at each, so trying something new may be the deciding factor. Have stayed at both. I prefer PH, a bit younger crowd and like the gaming area better. The Paris gaming floor is really an open concept with lots of lighting. Little privacy to playing a small group of machines unlike PH.
Buffets are pretty equal (neither like they were prior to harrahs" Do like the cafe at PH.

You will be fine with either, just depending on your personal taste.

I read your TR report. Even with the trouble encountered it seemed like you had a good time. I have booked PH. I agree with others that I just need to try something new. I have stayed at most CE properties in Vegas only PH and Flamingo yet to go. They have guaranteed me at least a strip view and told me on the phone I should get upgraded at check in. We did get upgraded to the Augustus tower in June without asking and that was a Friday,Sat,Sun stay. This will be in December during the week. Diamond check in should help. Now I am thinking about having my birthday dinner at the strip house and paying with reward points.

Yeah, overall trip was good; just a few glitches w/the Ho as well as my personal preference. Just make sure that their "upgrade" is not to a handicapped room if you want to shower
