Paris Visit

I stayed at the Paris my second time out to Vegas, which was the end of July last year. We liked it very much. The place isn't huge and everything is close. We stayed in a red room on the 27th floor with a view of the Belaggio fountain. Beautiful view!!! The room was very clean and everything worked fine. Room also had a 42" plasma tv. Checking in/out was painless. I didn't eat at any of the establishments there, but I heard there are some decent places to eat there. I would definitely go there again.
Eiffel Tower restaurant is very nice for an Anniv. dinner. Request a table by the window.
We always hit Mon Ami Gabi for a few meals. With the heat, consider either a late breakfast or early lunch though for outside seating.
Are there any other resorts on your radar or is Paris offering you free rooms? Unless it is a Red Room or above, I find Ballys North Tower rooms better.

We always enjoy staying at Paris although we do so less now only because of the gaming side...not the hospitality. Rooms are somewhat dated but, we have always found them to meet our needs and are far superior to most at Ballys, and pretty much any room at Harrahs, IP or Flamingo.

Ballys is easy to get to without going outside. Paris sportsbook is poor...no sound for games and no free drinks. Registration staff used to be a bit surly but, maybe that has changed. Having a car at Paris is a very big hassle in terms of getting in and out of the property unless you are very familiar and can avoid a strip entrance.

Best thing about Paris is the food as we have found every outlet to be very good. We had great experiences at the buffet and other places aready mentioned. There are many choices along the walk way to Ballys.

BJ pays 6/5 so I don't play there anymore. We have always found the slots to be looser at Ballys than Paris but, to be honest, we avoid all HET properties now for slots.

I think you can have a very nice time there especially for a special occasion.

KarenTN why Im I not surprised?
Looking to stay there in a few weeks.

So the pool is good? That's most important for the wife.

and how do you access the parking garage without entering from the strip?

Thanks!

Bushman, you CAN access self parking from the strip, or street (Audrie) behind it.
You can also access Ballys self parking from Flamingo (enter like youre going to ballys valet)
Ballys & Paris share parking garages, so doesn't matter where you enter. SAME pkg garage.

In the meantime, The Kid texted me last night. I had arranged Paris Limo pickup for them from the airport.
He said the Limo was there, and driver was nice.

He's TIN Level, and got a Red room Suite, 2 nites.
I dont know HOW he gets these great rooms with his level? (Last time was a huge suite at Caesars)
Chip off the old block??? lol

Cuz he's your son- sweet, tall and cute to boot..... must be these sweet young things at checkin

yes- for self park, turn into Bally's valet , keep going and go straight to the concrete wall, make a left and you'll find Paris Self Park

The pool sucks, IMO. A better bet for a good pool is any of the higher end, newer places.
