Just stayed 2 nights there. Very nice room. TV didn't work right & got a $50 food credit. Staff is good & very helpful. Pool is nice with lots of shade if you go before 2pm. Very little VP inventory though, with poor pay schedules.

If you get the opportunity and if affordable, I'd recommend Nomad within Park MGM from a room and service staff perspective. It's top end in our experience. I'd agree regarding the lackluster gambling choices at Park MGM casino..lots better options.
