So now CET will begin charging for valet parking on Dec. 19 at the strip properties (not Rio). Card members who are platinum and above will get free parking. We quit valet parking several years ago because it was too congested and took forever to get your car. It has been much easier to self park. Even though we are platinum level, we probably won't go back to valet. But then, this may relieve some of the congestion at valet and move it to the self parking garage. We arrive in LV on Dec. 18 so we will find out how it's going.
