PH Hollywood Hip v. Caesar's Forum Tower

We had 2 comped nites booked at PH for the end of September. This morning, I was checking the rates thru TR and saw we could get a Caesar's Forum Tower deluxe room comped as well. I called and changed to Caesar's since we very seldom see anything comped there. We've stayed at PH many times but never at Caesar's. Did I do the right thing?

If you get a recently remodeled room at the FOrum tower, that is the better choice IMO, if not I like PH better. To me its pretty much a "wash". PH rooms do have nice tubs if that is important to you. Otherwise, I would consider the other factors about the properties that you use - pool, parking, service, shopping, convience of location, etc.

YES YES YES--Forum Tower rooms are all remodeled & very nice. A step up from PH (not a huge step, but a step nonetheless.

Stay with the Forum Tower but ask about the possibility of a free upgrade.

We asked for an upgrade to Augustus, he couldn't do that as it was full, but he gave

us a Royal Suite in the Forum Tower.

Even if you don't get an upgrade, the Forum Tower rooms are very nice! I spent 5 nights comped in one over July 4th and was very happy, and I'm a bit of a room snob. Loved the TV in the bathroom mirror and the bed was fantastic. No bath tub, i could care less.

What really stood out for me at Caesars was the clientle. I don't like alot of hall noise, drunks, little kids, etc... Very quiet and classy.
