Planet Ho what kind of room to ask for?

We will be taking our 7*s trip to Planet HO in LV.
We have a very low ADT due to our being strictly video poker players.
Also, no track record in LV Harrahs properties.
Both of us are 7*s but only using one of our trips(cards)for this trip.

I think 7*'s would have a choice of suites. We have stayed in a Panaroma suite twice (only Diamond, paid using TR points) and loved it. These are the suites at the end of each hall with 180 degree floor to ceiling windows overlooking the strip. The suite had four thermostats - gives you an idea how big it is. We specifically asked for the north tower high floor. Those suites look down at the Bellagio Fountains, the Eiffel Tower, and Paris. The bedroom faces Cosmo. Spent a lot of time lounging in the suite.

The south tower Panaroma faces city center and MGM. Not as nice of a view.

You may be able to get the boulevard which has different amenities but view may not be as nice. The Apex suite is the top tier suite. That is the one Kevin Spacey's character stayed in the movie 21.

Just got back from a big family trip where we booked six rooms. I am Diamond and was comped a "strip suite" which was very nice but not as nice as the Panorama. Probably it depends if you go on a busy weekend or not.
