Planet Hollywood wheel spin

Two questions about this promotion:

1) Is it still going on?

2) If so, how much coin-in does it take to get to spin the wheel? I saw another post that said they started requiring 25 points.

As of the first part of Dec it was still going on. Yes it does take 25 points now which is $250 through on VP or $200 through on slots. You now get a prize even if you whammie. When we were there is was a choice between a cloth tote bag or a plastic shot glass.

thought it was only $125, ($5 coin in = 1 pt on reels) for slots (reels), but perhaps I am wrong. Still too much. They purposely are trying to destroy this promotion. Should make it 5 pts and they might get more play for them and for customers. Typical CE move. They just don't get it.

Does anyone have a rundown on what you could win? Is it worth the time and effort? Do the 25 points have to be earned at PHo? Can it be done every day?

The 25 points is $250 in VP or $125 in slots. The 25 point minimum is not a big deal to us since we gamble at PH anyway, but I do think they should lower it to about 10 points.

As it is, the long lines have now disappeared (good thing) and the prizes are a bit easier to get IMO. They do need to offer a better variety of choices though (I have about 6 or 7 of the "baby" t-shirts already.

agree 10 points but do you see harrahs doing this? I don't but hope I am wrong as I felt it was a good promotion esp when they finally got rid of the riff raff that was there. The last time we did it, there was a lady with a beard in line and that told me that he to make some revisions!
