President's lounge Harrah's Tahoe questions

Is this still open?
What do they serve?
Which days and hours?
Number of guests a Diamond level may bring in with them?
Number of guests a 7 Star level may bring in with them?

Thank you for updating my info on The President's Lounge, it's been 3 years since we were in Tahoe at the end of the week. Last time we were both Diamond level, but alas only 1 of us has Diamond level now.
We were there in August and the lounge was open at 5 PM as I recall and I think until 7 PM (but not certain) - you could call and ask the Diamond desk at Harrahs, as they are very helpful. It was only open on Friday and Saturday.

They allowed Diamonds to bring one guest, but do not know about 7 Stars. There are a number of tables reserved for certain named people, so you must be able to somehow call ahead and reserve one (I assume 7 star only).

They carve a nice roast beef, and had soup, salad, cold veggies, small deserts and a few other items - definately enough to make a decent meal out of (and most people did).

Get there early, as they line up and tables go fast.
Hi Raisin:

I get to Tahoe about once a month and the Presidents lounge is open Friday and Saturday at 4pm. The carving station is open from 4-6pm and will have either beef or ham. It is ALWAYS good! Not sure when the Lounge closes as I always make sure I am there for the carving station. Besides veggies, fruit plate and soups, there is also a nice little dessert tray. THe number of tables are limited but they open up the room across the hall for people to go in and sit. You access it on the Harrah$$ side taking the elevation to the 16th floor. Beautiful view of the Lake. I try to snag a table on the second floor to look out over the Lake.

As Dave said, A diamond member and one guest: Seven Stars gets two guests. And they are very strict with this policy. In addition to the Presidents Lounge, Harrahs does have a regular DL located in the High Limit area. My card never seems to work so go to the Hi Limit Desk located at the base of the steps and they will "fix" your card. I never go here though as the selection is really poor

Harveys has a nice DL located on the seventh floor. It is acessed by an elevator adjacent to the escalator heading down to the tunnel leading to Harrahs. It is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday-Monday during football season. No carving station, but great soups, sandwich makings and a hot appetizer at 4pm. This is open from 4-9pm. Elevator is usually operated by Jeannie, a long term employee(ask her to tell you a joke) and Scott is the bartender and is very good.

Dave and tedde great info thank you. Nice to know the DL at Harvey's is open for football season. Very scenic there. What's the best plan of action for snagging a 2nd floor table other than be first in the door at 4 and head up the stairs? (glad to know I can sit across the hall if I can't get a table upstairs.)

Like the carving station- reminder of past DL era. Usually have soup or sandwich and some fruit enough to tide me over when we are eating late at night.

Raisin:

No mystery to getting the second floor seating...you just have to be one of the first twenty or so in the door. Some of the tables are reserved for 7star$$. If you have someone with you, you can send them through the line while you snag the table. If it is a busy weekend, people start lining up as early as 3:45. I usually get there about 5 early and don't have a problem. OR, wait for that initial Crush as 4pm and maybe try 4:45 or so.

I've done the President lounge a few times (just last week in fact). The lounge is busiest from 4:30 to 5:30, avoid that time if you want to sit. However, if you go early or late there are seats to be had. After 6pm the place is empty which is great as the drinks and snacks (but not meat) still flow. Also you can sit and eat at the Cliche lounge right next door.

This is a really nice perk.
At Diamond check-in, I was given a card with the days and hours for President's lounge, Harrahs Diamond lounge, and Harveys Diamond lounge.

President's lounge only open on Saturdays now 4pm to 7:30pm (carving station 4pm to 6 pm)

Harrshs Dl open Tues-Thurs 4pm to 9 pm, Fridays open 4pm to 10pm (will have hot food on Fridays now, but I didn't get the hours)
Saturdays noon to 10pm and Sundays Noon to 7pm

Harveys DL open Friday to Monday 4pm to 9pm
