Has anyone stayed here since the conversion? Have the rooms / casino all been renovated? Should I stay here rather than Bally's?

We didn't stay there but stopped in to see the changes. All I could see that was different was the front entry. My sister stayed there in Jan. and was very disappointed. I told her I wasn't sure WHEN they would get around to the rooms. Be safe, stay @ Ballys.

Still getting used to the fact that the Imperial Palace is "gone". Never liked the place but for a time they had by far the BEST cocktail waitresses.

The casino has been/is being renovated, but the rooms are not. There is no plan to do so for at least a year. That being said, we are staying there in March and have stayed there for our last 5 trips.

You could not be more right.

I may be "misremembering" but I believe at one point all cocktail waitresses were in a union (maybe that's still the case, don't know) but the IP's were not. They could hire and fire at will. That, combined with their blue outfits = YUMMY

Can you still enter from the front? Where is the valet? Thanks!

Stayed last weekend.

Bad room on 18th floor but I asked for quiet and it was not near Carnival Court as least.

Need of new carpets and furniture. Everything worked though.

Casino is under construction and the rooms will be fixed up last obviously

Are you sure about that?? I haven't read anywhere that anything is gonna be done
to fix their rooms???
